Have you got a favourite place ?

After watching Britains favourite view, it made me realise how lucky we are to Live in such a beautiful country, I have two favorite views one is from the top of Both-Y-Gest, near Porthmadog, the other is from the cliffs above Pen-Y-Bryn Beach looking across Cardigan bay, and this is in the correct category because the walk to both is good for the body and the view is good for the soul, How about you, what is your favourite view and why,? thanks all, Ray

yes mine is of the gates of my old primary school.

I like the view of the mount in Penzance.

Also just any view that involves staring at the sea really.

I think anywhere you can see the sea. Its so beautiful and inspiring. The sound is lovely too. Mind you I wouldn't want to live by the sea because there is a sound off button which may drive me mad.

My favorite place is Llangrannog, Ceregigion. And generally the whole area round there because its where I'm from. Am also very fond of New Quay, Ceredigion (not New Quay, Cornwall) Personally i think you just can't beat the sea at sunset. Am moving back to Ceredigion next year and i can't wait.

On the other hand.......it can be quite nice on the edge of the countryside looking over a big city with thousands of twinking lights at night.....

Hi Pinkkitty, that is one of my favourite views from the cliffs above Llanngranog, a beautiuful place, The next beach is pen-y-bryn ? that is the view i mention, you are very lucky, I adore that area

I would love to see Ireland, bob.

My favourite place for the last few years has been Devon. Standing on the cliffs looking out to the sea..magical.

I love the view from the harbour wall in Saundersfoot, in West Wales - my birthplace and where we've just been for a fortnight *sighs* - when the tide's in and the sun's out, early in the morning with no tourists on the beach. Round to Monkstone on the right, Amroth, Pendine to the left, all the way round to Worm's Head on the Gower. Beautiful, can't beat it....I've got a painting on my kitchen wall of part of that view so that I can look at it whenever I'm feeling a bit 'landlocked' in Somerset!!

I love to sit at the top of Mynydd-y-Dref looking out to Puffin Island, Anglesey and the Irish sea. I agree the view of Cardigan Bay is wonderful.

Ah Nutgone, The coast we have in wales eh from pemboke to the north is just superb, and the welsh coast is winning so far

Hey Ray, no seven sisters are really old trees on the top of the quantocks, its quite high, so you can see the coast, south wales, the mendips and across to the blackdowns, its lovely.
