Following on from my question about great walks, i visited hadrians wall, (because it was nearest to me), walked most of it and took loads of footage. From about 4.00 AM i was down at the wall to catch the sunrise and then enjoyed a nice long walk with the rest of the crew. Stopped for a break at 12.15 and then continued filming and walking until 3.48 pm. Just got in and wanted to thank everyone who contributed, i have all the places on paper and gave the rest of the crew directions. If anyone has any other places to go for a great walk in england and n irlenad please let me know. Can't be later than 2days time though because i won't be here, i'll be in the scottish hilands doing some filming, and then be traveling for a few weeks afterwards. If you do know of anywere suitable for a great walk with great views or history and suitable for 9.00 tv, please let me know. Thanks.

None, we all work freelance, and get hired by companys to do work. SW, why don't you come and visit, you can rent the place. I might just destroy the bridge while your on there.
Question Author
B00, i'm not a liar. Only when i'm at work and the boss asks me why the lock on his office door has been changed so he can't get in.
Ah CD, were in penzance? I ca't pin oint it.
so you worked at an internet cafe whilst on your hols? I see yes, that makes sense.........doesnt explain how you could be given run of the company whilst the boss was away, that is what you said last week wasnt it?

Incidently, if you're all freelance and therefore don't have a company name, why have an office?
Question Author
No b00, working as a freelance cameraman you don't get contracts for a while somtimes, so i also work in web development and thats were the boss and my office is.
Erm. Penzance is in cornwall. Right at the very, very end.

If Cornwall had a capital it would be Penzance.

On the map, you see that really long bit jutting out on the left hand side at the bottom of the corner? Right down the bottom where the sea is. That's Penzance.
lol, keep 'em coming crossy, i know i for one am swallowing every single one ;-)
Question Author
Yes CD, i know were penzance is i'm just saying where is a good walk? Along the beach, along the cliffs, i'm stuck. I go out walking alot but the places i go walking don't meet what the company want.
Beachy Head, especially nice on a very windy day.
nice long walk
very short pier
job done
*accepts applause from normal ABers*
Penzance is in the middle of the South West coastal path - only 515 miles of it so I'm sure you'll do that in a day. Cliffs are good, especially right near the edge.
What he ^^^^ said.
Don't worry about the 'applause' crossroads, you plug on, you have some rare guts and I admire you for thinking on your feet.

Good walk ? The North Downs Way, particularly Botley Hill.
I've heard Morecambe Bay sands are good at night, but be warned, torches and flares are not allowed after 9pm.
