How many of you managed to get to work in london today.

Right I am peeded of got up at 5.45 as usual to get to work only to find half the bloody tube system in london shut, tried to find alternative routes but eventually gave up and thought sod it im going home to annoy you lot on here all day.

Just got back and the first thing that I done was come on here, god how bloody sad is that.
Lost a days money and spent money on me oyster card and no doubt will go out later and give some cards and alcohol a jolly good bashing. Do you reckon i Can sue london transport.

So anyway gripe over how many of you work in london and how many have taken the day of.

district line part shut, circle line was shut ,though think it only has severe delays now. hammersmith and city line platform shut at liverpool street, so was told to go back on central line to which the gates were closed as the platform was full and they were letting people on like bouncers letting people into a night club, and other lines shut or major delays so thats when I gave up.

Ah those were the days, rushing ( or not) through traffic to get to work.

The only place i manage to rush to now is the loo after a vindaloo.

Good luck with the compensation. Ha ha ha - I am in receipt of a scabby quid that I got when I was sent on a circuit of the city due to cavalcade of rubbish events - quid is for the origonal journey I could not take. What about the seven quid the cost of the convoluted new journey ... the waste of my time , exposure to the great unwashed for longer?grrrrrrr. Best bit is it can only be used to buy new travel, if the local office was ever manned ( sometimes there is a humanoid lifeforce in there, but not working just to tantalise Joe Public! ) I'd cash it wouldn't I!!!
