I am working for the next 7 days straight, I have 4 days off next week fri sat sun mon, so I will get my long weekend then, will have worked 8 days first though : (

OK for legend he works in the sun in Tenerife, try working in a pub in darkest Lancashire up to your elbows in greasy dish water. Bank holidays are a pain in the neck, they should be abolished immediately.

I'm a teaching assistant so I've had almost 5 weeks off and one more to go - can't wait to get back to school!!!!

Forgot to say what I'm going to do! Going to the Glendale Show in Wooler - nice family day out. Me and daughter love horses, my son will complain about the smell of the animals all day. I've just looked up info on the internet and some of the animals, sheep, goats etc can't go cos of foot and mouth I think. I thought it was safe up this end

I worked in Tenerife for two months in the summer before I first started Uni. I went there with my mum visiting a friend initially. I loved La Gomera (the Island below Tenerife for those who don't know the area) and hope it never changes. It was totally untouristy, but those tourists who had turned up were all sort of hippies. This is 15 years ago, however, and I've not been back since. Christianos in Tenerife was just a building site then.
