well I sometimes take the top off one but I wont eat them...eww
I usually do pick a bit but I would never eat one !!!

I read somewhere once that picking your scabs or as it was put "not allowing a wound to heal" is a form of self-harm.
Bit strange eh ?
I thought it was a law, that you had to pick them, but bednobs you are gross, no way would i eat a scab. i flick them at the wife
its a lovely feeling to pick them off though....

dont knock it till you tried 'em! yum!
I used to love a good scab pick. Not sure about the eating bit.

Might chuck myself down a gravel path in the morning to generate decent eventual scab.
Having said that if you have small scab on finger say and bite it off it makes your teeth stick together, is that weird.
How on earth did you ever start eating them - are you crazy??!! Picking them - of course, but eating them?? I actually shuddered when I read that!

I used to know someone who regularly ate the 'sleep' from his eyes though. He said he preferred it in the morning when it was a bit crunchier.....grim...!
You know that sort of feeling that you get just before you throw up..................................................................must go
Ewwwww all these people eating their bodily secretions, why ?!
Like nutgoneflake I have to ask, when and why did you first decide to eat them ?
apparently you should remove scabs to prevent scarring; see about halfway down this page

the self-cannibalism bit I'm not so sure about, but I suppose they're cheaper than salted peanuts.
i eat them 2 yum lol
well, I just hope you two are growing them organically; battery-reared scabs are morally repellent
Had to grin at this one, & it was compulsive reading to see how many people dithered at the idea! However, if man reverted back to a "wild" state, I'm sure this might be done more often, since if you left a scab to drop off naturally, the scent could be picked up by predators - so eating it (like animals might eat placenta's) would seem the best thing to do!

i was only joking i dont really eat them
Yep, I do! I know it sounds gross to everyone, and I don't know why but I can't help it!! I have to do it! If I thought of anyone else doing it, it seems gross, yet I do it myself......wonder why? Strange. Something wrong with me I guess!
