Both had part time jobs in their youth at the place I worked.

My kids go to school with a boy who's dad is in Heartbeat

My uncle was friends with John Thaw

My Father in Law went to school with John Lennon.

My dad had dinner with Donald Sutherland

I did once yank a strippers tassles off at a strip club.Don't think she was famous though.

I have been interviewed on countryfile with my ferrets and was on Countryfile as the terrierman for the Devon and Cornwall Mink Hounds. I know, im bad!!!

I was in a Channel 4 programme about ghosts because I lived in a haunted pub.

I served the Manic St Preachers in another pub I worked in, and also Peter Gabriel, Julian Cope, Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates when I worked in Our Price.

My mum worked at Pinewood Studios in the 50's and Robert Mitchum gave her a lift home once. She also got Ronald Reagan's autograph, and was there when Marilyn Monroe was filming The Prince and the Showgirl.

One of my friends recently confessed that she was friends at school in Wales with Catherine Zeta Jones, and doesn't ever tell anyone. (Apart from me, obviously!)

I know John Cleese, John Leslie (I know..), have worked on telly with John Noakes, Dickie Davis, Penny Smith, Mariella Frostrupp. I presented The Travel Show on BBC2. I was also in Private Schultz with Michael Elphick. I have many media pals who present on Radio or who edit films or write comedy. Just the circles I move in I suppose.

I have had a conversation with Mel Gibson , have been on the radio , and briefly on the tv .
Also chatted with some of the stars of earlier days when my sister was in the Black and White Minstrels , though younger ones among you may not know who they were .

My boss was the late Robert Robertson. Lovely man. He was the Pathologist in Taggart.
It never bothered me at all as they are only human beings working for a living. Not too different from any of us I am afraid.

I grew up living next door to one of the drummers from Showaddywaddy and went to college with Gary Linekers ex wife Michelle. My husband went on a scouting trip with Sir Cliff Richard about 40 years ago. How sad is that??? lol.

Ooh I also forgot to mention that I got to know Harry Corbett and his wife, and Sooty and Sweep (!) as well as Little and Large, Brian Conley, Norman Collier and other nicely naff seaside entertainers, whilst working in the theatre!

and the really famous ones??? lived up the hill lol..... we were down the bottom hehe....Jaggers, Attenborough and a comedian I can never remember his name lol but did Queen on stage if anyone knows his name???.
Tommy Steele, lovely house on the corner with a huge bronze statue of Charlie Chaplin. He moved back to Camberwell, (Elephant and Castle) my original stamping ground.

and lots more I've had social dealings with but must remain quiet on haha!!!
