I've been back about an hour after the funeral of my son'r best mate, it was heart wrenching , he had a 40 motorbike escort from the Funeral parlour to the village church, they leapfrogged the courtage four at a time to hold up traffic at each junction and roundabout on the way to let us all through, that was amazing, they were all race marshalls apparently.
It was very hard watching my son and his friends carry the coffin into church but I was proud of them all. It was even harder watching my son's white face as he helped lower the coffin into the grave. I felt devastated for my son and his friends having to handle that, but they did so well.
there is a short you tube video Danny made at work the week before the accident, that's just how he was.
Can we have loads of trivia tonight please?

I can only say that today a new stage of the grieving process begins, dotty. No doubt you were incredibly sad at the funeral of such a young lad..but to see your own son in distress can sometimes be too much to take.
No wonder you are exausted.
Danny is ok now, I am sure of it. I hope your son is ok too. xx

Hi Dot-
My thoughts are with you. It sounds as if your son and his other friends honored the young man in a fine fashion. I have been to funerals for young students of mine and there is no immediate remedy for the pain other than time which will lessen it, but never make it truly gone.
Much upport is being sent your way.

Hi Dot,
Funerals are just so sad especially when it's a grave and seems worse when its a young person, it must of been a difficult day for you to see your own son upset it's alot for you and him to take in. At least he has a strong mother who will be there for him.Pour yourself a large brandy and try and relax.
My thoughts are with you.
