Does anyone know where I can buy a hair-dye to make my hair a vibrant red?? My hair is naturally dark brown, but have been using Schwarzkopf Live red hair dye, but it's not vibrant enough. Any ideas would be appreciated xxx

If you want it really vibrant you would probably have to beach your hair blond before dying it red
I agree especially as you have been dying it permanently already. Hairdressers have some good colours but it might not take so well as the permanent dye have already laid down on your hair. I would go get half a head of highlights and then put your red on top. You could do it again in a couple of months and your hair will get redder and redder.

Alternatively you could try some vegetable based red hair dyes. If you have any alternative clothing stores in your area they might stock it.

I used to use a pillar box red hair dye, on bleached hair when I was in my late teens. Manic panic sell these. If you have a fried whose pretty good at dying you could always have a go at highlighting at home but you could easily get this done at a granny type hairdressers for about 20 quid.
granny type hairdressers? lol. I love it!
lol, hippy hoppy, you know what I mean though. Hairdressers out of town that charge a third of the price and still do a shampoo and set. If you are gonna dye over it why bother spending 75 quid on half a head of highlights. A full head tend not to cost twice as much by th way.
I can't believe that goodsoulette has acknowledeged me! Yey me!

Do I normally ignore you? lol I dont mean to.
No, I just feel a bit invisible - in real life too. I'm always surprised when someone knows who I am. I'm just me, no-one special.
