Clean sheets yes! Rainbows, Bright sunny mornings, my son still hugging me when he comes out of school even though his friends think it's uncool, opening a brand new never been read book - too many to think of!

My son still putting his arms round me and saying "I love you, mum!" even though he's nearly 19 & 6ft 3in. My cats purring, the welcome I get from my dogs when I come home. Hearing the birds sing, seeing the first snowdrops (then I know spring's on the way), when the swallows come back to my stable after the winter, bluebells, rainbows, lambs playing in the fields and frogspawn in the pond! Kxx

This question got me all nostalgic! I have just been away for the week, and feeling very soppy and glad to be home...

So the little things for me include texts from friends I love and miss, my dog standing all over me in his excitement that I am home, rainbows, scented candles, surprise cuddles from my (not very touchy-feely) partner, feeling like I am so lucky to have a home to live in and so on...
