On TV this morning they said that people nowadays dont get to see their grandparents because they live to far away. How many of you still visit your grandparents regularly, or if you dont have any but have children do they regularly see their grandparents?

i was lucky enought to be able to give up my job and look after my grandson while his mam goes to work so i see him every day and i love it
I dont see my granparent (as i only have one) very regularly, but even if i did she wouldnt remember as she has dementia, its horrible seeing her like it and heart breaking. Although i did see her last weekend first time in about 6 months, im going back in 2 weeks as she is quite poorly, she has 2 of my uncles living with her.

I do feel guilty that i dont see her but im one of well over 25 grandchildren.

I wished i lived nearer then im sure i would pop in every week.
Young Master Hellion sees's all 4 grandparents at the very least twice a week. He also visits his Great Aunt and Uncle twice a month and sees his great grandmother every month too.
I'm very angry with you 4get.

I have spent the whole morning with the St. Winifreds School Choir singing 'Grandma We Love You' on a loop in my head.

It's driving me barmy.
I can't imagine not seeing my granddaughter regularly. I see her at least 3 times a week , she comes to visit at least a couple of times a week and I go round to see her too. In the school holidays I see her loads :) I suppose Im lucky cos she only lives round the corner from me. I would hate it if I lived far away from her and could only see her occasionally :(
I never knew my mum`s parents as they both died before she was 3 years old. My dad`s dad died when he was young & his mum when I was 6. Unfortunately, I don`t remember her much.

Hi 4get, I read your question this morning & thought to myself that i really should go & see my dads mum & dad this weekend, i promised my nan last week that i would go to see her & show her my new car. Then i just had a phonecall from my dad to say that she had died this morning. She hadn't been well for ages & had cancer but it's still a shock. I feel so bad that i didn't see her more often.
