To sell or pawn??

Hi all, I have my engagement and wedding ring that I want to get rid of. In my town there is a pawn shop and also a jewelers that buys gold. My question is, do any of you know where I am likely to get more money for the rings?

I was a pawnbroker for three years, you are better off selling it to an individual than somebody that's going to resell or scrap it
