I have an ultrasound at 8 o clock this evening and I have lost the letter, admittedly, I might find it again but just in case, I remember it saying I couldn't eat for 6 hours before hand but cant remember if it said I couldn't drink either. Its to check on gall stones if that helps.

So can I drink?

Oooo , Goodsoulette , I have heard that the pain you get from that is agonising love . I wish you all the best with the scan and it's findings. Pity it wasn't this morning so the 6 hour nil orally would have been overnight . :-) x
All sorted? Can you eat and drink again now?

lol yup can eat and drink again. I was starved come half 8 last night but on the way back from the hospital my toddler puked everywhere, it stunk like yeast, it was revolting and because it smelled so odd, I insisted on checking all the sick to make sure he hadn't swallowed anything he should have. Didn't fancy dinner anymore lol

Anyway hes okay now. They made me get naked for the scan, apart from one of those crappy gowns that nevermind you have wrapped it round you 3 times your arse still hangs out the back as soon as you have to walk past a group of people.
I wonder why you had to get naked??? lol... I'm glad they didn't make me and that was for liver, kidneys, stomach and bladder...
I like the fact the invite says warm jelly :) cos it wasn't!!!

Did they give you an idea of what they saw? xxx
We custom make those gowns you know GS.

It amuses us to see you try to hide your bottoms.

Glad to hear it all went went well. Sick toddler aside.

See ya round!

Well they seemed to take pictures of everything, they deffo looked at my kidneys, my stomach and my gall bladder/liver. Whilst looking at my gallbladder though the radiographer called the radiologist in and he said "there you go" and then they took a lot of stills. So no idea really, Ill get the results in a few weeks apparently.
Oh well. If it is stones you may get to take one home lol :)
