Today my plastercast came off after 8 weeks, and quite frankly it's a bit of a letdown :-(
My wrist still looks odd to me, but my specialist seems happy enough with it <shrug> and my arm feels like its got rubber for bones and it's very scaly and downright yucky looking- but it's getting there, yay for me!
Yayyy B00!!! I was thinking about you earlier wondering how you had got on!!
Glad 'you had it off' (sorry, thought I would follow suit! <blush>) It must feel and look strange to begin with but I'm sure it won't take long to feel normal again :o)
Just make sure you take it steady!!!
Oh to answer your question .... I'm fine thank you :o)
hehe cheers folks, me and Mini Boo are peeling the dead skin off my arm as we speak, its very therapeutic. And you're so right Pippa, the itching drove me bonkers!!
Red -left you a post on ya pregnancy one :-)
Wingy - Hey girly xx, Mr Boo has already shouted at me as I'm refusing to do the exercises they told me to do at hospital too much of a wuss to attempt 'em yet, but yes, it's getting there. All this from a bloody fall on the beach eh? That'll teach me!
