The permanent eyeliner might not look so attractive by then, and you don't see many old ladies wearing it. Before splashing out on such a drastic measure, practice applying eyeliner using a soft kohl pencil. Any "mistakes" can be smudged out to give the appearance of a smokey eyeshadow - or removed completely and quickly. If you still can't get the hang of it - best of luck with the procedure!
hi ice maiden been wanting to get it for years but expensive so now seems the perfect opportunity to get it done just didn't realize a tattooist would be doing this procedure!! babe; you remind me of an old woman years ago when i got a small swallow on my shoulder (tattoo) and she said whats it going to look like when your old and wrinkly, when your still young you don"t think about things like that, if, i did then i would never take a chance and be old before my time. thanks for your opinion anyway. x
Bless you! I'm not an old woman, I'm 28. Well...OK then - old compared to some - but I was going by the fact that a lady who worked for me had the same thing done to her eyes. By the time she came to us, the result was already starting to look peculiar, although she was probably a good deal older than you are now, hence the effects weren't so long lasting? If a permanent solution's what you've had in mind for a long time, then why not! If it makes you feel better, the best of luck to you - x.
Hussy-
The owner of my nail salon is licensed to do eye and lip tatooing. She has her lips and eye brows done. It does look nice, but the color needs to be retouched periodically for fading. I too have been tempted, but am too chicken.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes if you proceed.
While I am not blonde, I have sparse, stupid eyelashes and thought the eyeliner might help when I choose to not wear make-up. Though as I approach 40 those days are veerryy rare. LOL

Hey hussy, a normal tattooist providin permanent eyeliner worries em a little bit. Permanent makeup should be semi pernanent and should only be inserted into the upperlayers of the skin. I had my lips lined years ago and that faded to nothing, which is what urs should do. Remember that permanent black ink over time looks blueish because you cant protect the top layers of skin.
Check with him first that it isnt going to be as deep as the normal tattoos he does. Whoever did icemaidens mate obviously bodged it!
