Thanks Louisa. I didn't actually read what was said about Dot's son, but when she said about what he'd done at the graveside sort of thing - it made me realise how proud she must be of him. When you have a disabled child, things can feel really bleak sometimes. Maybe that's why I've been known to spout off - it sort of lets things out! I hate it when people say cruel things about anyone who's not considered "perfect", but Dot's son seems to've reached it on that particular day doesn't he?

Well it LOOKS like another op to reconstruct the damage, but they're still holding on for a bit. The poor child won't take fluids, so she's still hooked up to several drips. Her veins collapsed again, and she's pretty frail, but despite it all, they're quite confident that she'll recover - thanks.

Yeah - re. pics, I sometimes end up sending them back to myself!!! Hopeless. Going to try and get some updated ones after the holiday, but at the moment I'm still trying to fathom out my new camcorder. It's one of those thingies that you put a disc in - shoot, and watch.....but the instruction leaflet might as well be written in Chinese for all I can make of it! Might start smoking again!

Yep - and have you ever tried putting together a wardrobe?? You always seem to end up with lots of screws and nuts left over. We can't have fitted ones in case of damage to the walls, which are like..old...so when we needed a new wardrobe quickly, I made the horrendous suggestion of one of those put-together things. Well! It would've made a good comedy film! It finally stood...but there was a gap between the doors. It's going on this year's bonfire!!
