hi wizard, my friend who has a child went out with a chap who had a child - because both adults had been single for a long time, it was very difficult at times. The children had gotten used to one parent and one parent's attention to themselves, and it's probabaly more than likely that the parent is going to want to protect their own child too. It's very difficult. But you sound like you really care about Mrs W. I do hope you work it out. When it's calmed down and been slept on, I am sure you'll be able to talk it through.

Kids can only upset a relationship if you allow them to do it. Time you and your partner sat down and talked seriously. Hoep you both are singing from the same hymn book.
Try to sort it out instead of throwing it all away.
