I think it would be pertinent to hold training sessions during the weekend, i am working Saturday and staying in bed on Sunday in preparation, so, it's every man for himself. i would humbly suggest that people run every virus check, defrag, system clean and system backup they have. Also, there needs to be an element of 'suspension of belief' and so anyone with more than one id needs to practice the old 'multiple windows' option, as you know you always get caught out on CB!!!!!!!!

now that could mean many things lol : - )
Without being stupid on purpose Dot, how is CB any different from another category? Do the same posting restrictions apply? EX. Only a certain # of questions and answers in a certain amount of time.

Everyone seems passionate about it one way or the other. Anything with the word chatter in it sounds good to me. LOL :)
we will see eng im like u

dont see the biggie really
Good evening Dot. Hands up! I admit, I'm thick as treacle here. I haven't a clue as to what this is all about...chatterbank...

For the hopelessly lost, may I ask please, is this similar to a forum where people more or less IM one another?

If it is, I can't imagine it appealing to everyone. But I see where some of the more loquacious will have the opportunity to chin-wag to their hearts content.

Be well

Fr Bill
OOh nasty place that Chatterbank was. I was never there myself but heard enough about it. Will the 2nd CB be any different?
well i'm all for it i'm off on monday soooooo roooollll on monday it sounds gooooood :))))))
Question Author
actually that is a good point about the postings in a time limit, that concept was never baqndied about on cb but the number of 'why am i banned i did nowt' posts were many fold, this could be a stumbling block, i will give u an example, you know how there is the alphabetical thread, e.g. alphabetical pop bands? that would be hilarious, you get to D and then 8 thrteads appear asking why am i banned lol
dotty xxxxxx
What is chatterbank and why has it got a bad name ??
chatterbank was not nasty, folks were sometimes arrogant and rude to each other. it was nice at the beginning.
sounds like AB society :)))) but we have to give it a whirl
yep louisa. soon will be whirl time. lol.
but now is bed time. nite nite
nighty night society
I often could be found in chatterbank, I liked it mutchly but what the f*** is the question? is it coming back?
Hi jacko,apparently yes
what a pillock , I just read the editors blog so now i know it is coming back FOR ONE WEEK ONLY, how does that work? it is just aimless chatter all night and day long with the odd kick off between ruby rose, john lambert and shadow man, alias sas super hero inteligence officer pillock ive done it all walter mitty whatever his name is pretending to be an upper class twit when really he is from a council estate and can't get over it twonk. well that should get us off to a good start if nothing else. i did 22 years in the army really i did not imagine it.
hi hau kola.
Hi,how you doin/
Maybe the ED has introduced it so that Body and Soul can get back to the days when people posted a serious question to get a serious answer. Just my opinon.
Hi Jacko it's coming back for one week only....but if it gets enough votes then it's there to stay. I'm new so i don't know what it was like before but it sounds good. there is many a time i want to ask how others are doing but daren't put up a thread regarding them for fear of getting a backlash from others..... so i think it's a good thing :)))))))
