Lets face it 1966 is STILL mentioned at every opportunity but 2003 isnt-I rest my case.Look forward to an exciting final between I would reckon SA and of course England -o remind me again what was the score when they last met -lol
O BTW I am a Scot,Scottish but never have been a Scotch.
It really makes me laugh when that is trotted out -eff knows who started that one lol

Hmm. How odd. Both you and Whiffey seem to be the only ones on here I have seen referring to the nation of Scottish people as Scotch, despite being regularly advised of your error. I wonder, is ignorance REALLY bliss?
Whiffey - I wasn't aware that you had personally met every man, woman and child in Scotland to make such sweeping statements such as :
'Scotch people don't speak properly, there should be some operation to help them'
Gosh, how long did your 'wee' trip take? I do hope that my fellow Scots showed you the outstanding hospitality which we are renowned for. Incidentally, remind me again how often the Tartan Army are featured on news bulletins for football hooliganism :-P

Hi Shanx. To be honest, I think that this post was intended in a lighthearted, whimsical sort of way to 'liven up' this saturday night by being a bit naughty - as opposed to a deep rooted hatred. (I could be wrong of course lol) As I am deeply patriotic though - with good reason - then I will always defend my fine nation. So for every post which I see which claims that Scottish people are inarticulate, ill educated or refers to them as 'Scotch' then I will chip in my tuppeny bit - even if I know that I am rising to the bait haha. I try not to get upset by the utterances in pixel land.
Your Hogmanay party sounds great. I'll bring the shortbread but will pass on the Scotch!!!
