I haven't had a happy ending for years. Can I please borrow someone else's?
Actually, I have. It involves rescuing a horse from near death and then finding out he's an Olympic grade jumper.
Everything else kind of pales into insignificance after that lol.
Now this may be a little heavy for a breakfasted tummy but I think its better we aim for a happy ending to each day. A little love, as little argument as poss, our serving of contentment and a feeling of some purpose. A dream of even better should be there but dont miss whats now with hopes for an unknown future.
Take care of the days and the years take care of themselves. Just have no regrets. You cant turn the clock back and when you get older you become very aware of time.
That is the real world Legend. I have lots of little happy endings ranging from big changes to my and hubbys lives by moving away (we are happier now than for a long time) to being able to mend the ruddy monitor myself last week.
Dreaming about happy endings could mean you miss the ones already arrived.
There are usually hundreds of Happy Endings in most peoples' lives - the end of a happy evening, , the end of a happy family reunion, , the Happy Ending of a holiday but they are inevitably followed by lots of counter-balancing Unhappy endings, i.e. the unhappy end of a day at work, the unhappy end of a relationship with a boyfriend, etc. Life is a continual mixture of happy and unhappy. Unfortunately nobody gets a 100% monopoly of the "Happy" bits.
