Awww , my little boy , well ok , he is 23 , just rang me to tell me he is going to have to go to the med centre sick , his first day off since he has been working 6 years . Hpoe he gets signed off , he does sound rough :-(

Hi Bigmama. I know exactly how you feel, doesn't matter how old they are, they are always your babies, especially when they get sick. Hope he soon gets better. :-)

I have both of my girls at home today (and yesterday but Hubby was off sick so looked after them so I had to go to work) they are 4 and 9 and have this sick bug :o( Poor things looked so weak and pale yesterday throwing up everywhere, hate it when they are ill.

Tell him to get himself to bed and rest, plenty of fluids!!!

Its made all the worse when you cant see them and just give them a cuddle -I know how that feels bigmamma.When o when do they stop being your children and you stop being over protective - think my 2 would say under their breath the sooner the better -wait until they're parents themselves -lol

It is indeed Drisgirl . The doctor is going to see him at 5pm so I will know then if he is signed off or has been told to go on duty as normal , they aren't easy-going with the men. :-)

Hi Megan 07. Thanks so much for your message. Yes things are looking up, she did lose a lot of hair in the end, but its growing back. chemo and radio. all over now. And as we speak she is decorating !!!!! check up in December. Love to you too. J. Sorry to pinch your thread Big mamma :-)
