help! i am 25 and have recently noticed i have a few wrinkles appearing round my eyes. Have i started to age prematurely and does any one know how i can reduce these crows feet?
The only thing I know of is a mosturising eye cream, buy a good quality one and use it a.m. and eve. If you are already doing that I am afraid I don't know what else to suggest.
On our local radio station yesterday, Scientist have come up with the following information which did startle me.
A whole 75% of wrinkles round the eyes are due to
1) sun exposure
2) smoking
3) how we laugh
The other 25% apparantly is due just to old age. So stop smiling, where total sunblock for the rest of your life, and NEVER smoke!
I was about that age when they started appearing, but I have aged well. My daughter too (almost 26) has a few now, but she's happy about it cos she's sick of looking 16.
Firstly, you probably notice them far more than anybody else does! I'm a bit older than you but used to have fine dry lines around the eyes due to sun exposure (I used to be a bit of a sun worshipper), but since taking a supplement called Imedeen, these have all but disappeared. They're a bit pricey though, 32 for a month's supply and you need to take them for a minimum of 6 months to get the full effects.
Hi Melody 2002. Personally, I think Imedeen is great and I'm now a big cynic when it comes to beauty stuff (having tried various premium brand skin products in the past that didn't work for me). It works by countering free radicals but also it somehow causes the skin to produce more sebum, which plumps up fine lines. Your skin is better moisturised, which is great for someone like me who has always had dry skin which can become a bit flaky and tight. Also dry skin is more prone to age prematurely. People with sensitivity to shell fish can't take Imedeen apparently as this is one of its main ingredients
hey peps
watch ten years younger on channel four. i think it's on wednesday evenings. they usually have good tips even if ya can't afford botox.
i heard once that you could use cream for piles (at least i think it was piles. someone'll know what i'm talking about) hehe which tightens the area up but only use for special occasions not too often. research that one before you consider it!
