Right, I gave up smoking 7months ago, cut down on the beer, started to eat more properly, went to bed earlier, got up earlier. I cycle alot and get a good amount of general exerise. So why do I fell knackered more now than a year ago.
PS.we have had a baby 6 months ago and I do my bit but the wife does most so it can't be that. can it?

Your whole system is probably doing the equivalent of a tap dance with your body clock upheavals eg. nicotine withdrawal, sleep changes, not to mention the joy, stress and exhaustion of a new babe. Don't worry, as these are all positive changes - just give your system time to catch up.
well done on giving up smoking, and to your new healthy lifestyle! As for having a baby 6 months ago (congrats) i would say that has contributed to your lack of energy as they certainly do take it out of you mentally as well as physically. it is a huge change to both your life's having a baby, so no wonder you feel so tired!
