Yes and no, the no is because its going downhill rapidly!
6 years ago when I had my daughter, my docotors were great, the midwives were great, my experience in hospital during her birth was awful! It was the birth....it was the useless staff! (Hospital was spotless though!) This has put me off having another hospital birth, Im having this one at home!
6 years later, the doctors are uselss, the midwives are useless and I cant see the point of being given contact numbers at the start of my pregnancy when they just keep fobbing you off and tell you to phone whoever they arent!
On a contrasting note though. Last year, when my step mum had a stroke that we was told she would not recover from, the staff in the hospital couldnt do enough for us while we stayed with her for 5 days as she passed on. They kept her comfortable and always answered our questions. They looked after us, bringing us endless cups of tea and sandwiches and soup. They really couldnt have done more!
