I have been given permission to share some sad news. Yesterday, Mrs Grape began haemorrhaging and was taken to hospital. The doctors have determined that her baby has died Ante Partum. In the new week she will have a procedure to remove the dead foetus if it does not pass itself during this time.
We spoke in detail today. Grape demonstrates an amazing sense of self-preservation and determination. I am sure all of us are concerned about her welfare over the next few days.
She is scheduled to see solicitors tomorrow morning and she now has a caring female to provide another link of support. I will also make arrangements to see her later in the week.
It is at times such as these that we are often at a loss as to what we can say and do to help. Sadly, I find that I often am faced with these circumstances. Whilst there is little we can physically do, I believe adding your words of support and encouragement, as you have so kindly done in another thread, will help Mrs Grape feel the embrace of those who care for her.
Her days ahead are indeed rocky. However, knowing that there are those who genuinely care can and will make a difference.

For those of us who are of faith, I would ask that you also remember MrsGrape in your supplications.
I wish you well

I'm so, so sorry to hear that news, I do not know exactly what has been going on with grape lately but I know she has had a tough time, I wish I could take some of the hurt away from her even if it was just a little bit to try and make things easier to bear. I am sure she will comforted by having someone as caring as you Fr Bill to offer her your support.
