Which side should poppy be worn?

Please help setlle an arguement. What is the correct side a lady should wear her poppy? Is it on her right, as with a buttonhole?

The only suggestion made by the Royal British Legion on how to wear the poppy is "with pride".

There is no incorrect side to wear the poppy.

So long as you buy one, what's it matter? So long as it's not on your BACK side...

I always wear my Poppy on my left side, but that's only 'cos I'm left handed.
