Reading some comments on here it appears that to enter you have to listen to a series of questions on the telephone. So does that mean I will be unable to enter this competition as I am deaf and unable to hear sufficiently on the telephone? I had intended to simply ring the number and leave answer and name and address details on the message machine, but now I see that wont work???

How do I enter then??? Aaaghhh after all that hard work!

Ironically, Bell only invented the telephone whilst trying to invent the hearing aid for his deaf wife! He never knew that technology and telephones would become the bane of deaf peoples lives!!

I'm afraid you are too late anyway. The closing date was last Friday and the winners were published in today's MOS

Hi Shelle...the closing date was Friday noon. It only asked for the first and last letter of final place..if I remember correctly. It was quite rapidly spoken instructions even so. I take your point though regarding having to make a call...especially if that's a problem for people with any kind of disability.
My husband did it and he got me to ring it in for him...just because he hates these answering options on a phone.
The main prize winner, a cancer sufferer was announced in todays MoS. Entries had to be in by last Friday, and apparently there were about 48000 correct entries.

Oops! Thought it was THIS friday! Oh well, looks like I would not have been able to enter anyway, so will make do with the wish list which IS this friday (probably what I got mixed up with!).

Thanks for your answers.
