Please help people, what is the best mascara to dramatically lengthen lashes and thicken them. In other words, to give a nice false lash effect? I have tried numerous ones and none of them seem to do what they say. Which do you recommend?

I've bought two good ones recently. Maybelline Sky High Curves and Boots 17 Perfect Curl. After using eyelash curlers, I apply two thin coats rather than one thick one. This may sound obvious, but have you noticed that the models in the 'false lash effect' mascara ads are actually wearing false lashes? What do they take us for?!!

I have just bought one out of Semi-Chem by Rimmel called Endless - its FAB. Dont know if Semi-Chem is only in Scotland tho.

Bourjois Coup de Theatre without a doubt. A bit fiddly but worth it. Don't forget heated curlers as well!

the absolute best mascara available is Shu Umeura basic mascara. Every day of my life someone asks me what I use-it is ridiculously amazing.

NO NO NO! It's got to be Estee Lauder 'more than mascara'. This is for you if nothingn else has that 'wow' effect. I hate being without it now and i'm not really a make-up person.
