Why do I sweat more than my friends do, and why does it smell?

The amount an individual body perspires varies from person to person, so you shouldn't worry too much about the amount you sweat, there's little you can do about it, unless it's really excessive, in which your GP can discuss that issue with you. Sweat is odourless - the smell it generates is caused by bactieria which breed in sweat which is left on the skin for too long. This is easily rectified - ensure you wash frequently, and your clothes are fresh - try to ensure cotton is next to your skin, and use an anti-perspirant. These simple remedies will alleviate your odour problem
Some people do suffer from excessive sweating due to an anomaly of the parasympathetic nervous system. This is rare, but if it is the case surgery is sometimes used to control it. If worried see a doctor.
