go to the google online mapping system and change to satellite view. search for carlton lane in east carlton (yeadon, leeds), follow the road to the top, where it meets otley old road and look to the right in the field. look for some wierd looking ruins inbetween the 2nd and 3rd field. zoom in. whats that? they dont look like normal ruins ive found before, infact, they almost look like bunkers!

can anyone shed any light on this...?

wow - that sounds VERY plausable! i certainley didnt expect that - and to think i was right, they did look like bunkers, cuz they are! thanks loads for looking into it. how did you know where to find the info? i like wiki and use it alot, but i wouldnt have known how to find it. oddly enough, i use a mapping system at work, its basic, thats where i noticed it, but i was intrigued because they were mentioned to be anything, not even ruins!
