The fact that you ask this question means that you have no experience of hairdressing, and should definitley leave something like this to a professional. It's easy to watch a trained hairdresser carry out a procedure, and then imagine you could do it yourself. You have to remember that hairdressers train for several years, before they are allowed to charge money for their services, and that's for one very good reason - it's not as easy as it looks! have a word with your salon, pay up, and smile. It may cost, but you won;t end up looking like Wurzel Gummidge!
