Girl just turned me down. What do you think she is thinking?

Consider if you had a long distance bf, but there is this close friend who's always there for you and working really, REALLY hard to make you happy -- something that NO other guy has ever done for you.
This guy could be considered your best friend, and you know that he likes you. You have continued to accept his favors towards you, and you know he is working really hard for you to be happy.
Then he takes you to the river, writes down a speech on cards and shows it to you, one sentence by one sentence, ending with the words: "Will you go out with me?" He then takes out a dozen roses and gives them to you.
You say, "I can't take this, I have a bf"
He is kind to you driving you home but very few words are said. You say, "That was a very sweet and romantic thing to do, but I have a bf. You know I have a boyfriend. You know him."
The boy says "I was just trying to be honest."
You say, "I appreciate your honesty"
What do you think she's thinking about tonight? Do you think she'll have second thoughts? Why do you think she accepted all those favors from me in the first place?

What I don't understand is - why did you put yourself through this, and her in this situation when you know she already have a boyfriend.
She probably accepted those favours because she thought you were being kind and comforting to her, especially since you knew her boyfriend is away. My guess is that you read more into this friendship than she does. She only saw you as a loyal and faithful friend.
