Outstanding happy moment.

I have had lots of fabulous moments BUT and this is no disrespect to my son --(1st born) as those who know me -know my children are my world.

It was after J was born (2nd child) and I was all cosied up in bed in Ninewells and it was blowing a gale outside and I just looked at her snuggled up with her long black hair and I have never had such an over whelming moment of sheer unadulterated joy -and I said to myself at that time -rememeber and treasure this moment cos you will never be this happy again -and it was true.I never have.

Walking down the aisle (church) with my dad and i had the biggest smile on my face looking at all my family friends and best of all my daughter behind me and my Husband waiting for me. I made a massive enterence, as i'm normally a tomboy and i looked and felt like a princess.

Aw that iss sooo special.

Its just something you can lie in bed and rerun -I do and that was almost 19yrs ago bit it feels like yesterday.

Its not to say that its more special than anything else but like you probably -that was the absolute pinacle of my happiness.

Awww...both of those are lovely. Tbh, I've had a few outstanding moments - or should I say very memorable ones, but like those above me, one was on my wedding day, when I arrived in a horse drawn carriage and felt like a Princess, and the ultra-best moment was when I held my first-born son.

My daughter was early so she was a shock really, but was amazing feeling when we bonded. She shrugs me now when i kiss her in public (when she's off to school) she's ten. you miss them when they need you. But she was Bridesmaid and loved every bit. Special for us all really.

the birth of all my children has been special.

but moreso little legend as i didnt think id be havin any more kids .
hes a ray of ligth and never fails to make me laugh.
his comments are so genuine and sometimes his innocence makes me laugh and even cry.
only yesterday he asked me how old i was cos it was my birthday.
i told him i was 43 .
he said .
will you die soon cos your e so old?
i said no i hope to live a long long time .
he said well i havent got any granddads cos theyre dead and gone to heaven .
and youre my dad so i was just thinking were you gonna die and i wouldnt have a daddy anymore?

i just gave him a hug and told him.
ill be araound for a lolng time son and theres no getting rid of me .

not that easily.

Have to say BTW that R was special as well but cos he was my first and it terrifoed me itwasnt untillater that I apreciated what i had -just comlications but with J she jyust came out like 'Here I am -whens the party starting' -she was easy and more relaxed -thats all.

Its mad -I didnt know I had those emotions within me - wouldnt have missed it for the world -my 2 precious adults lol -im like a Jewish mum cept im not Jewish -(no disresoect to any Jews out there BTW).Its a bloody nightmare for them and I cant help myself -luckily they can laugh about me now.

maybe not as nice as all of your memories but....i had a one night stand that turned into a four night stand. i finally went home and the first record i put on was sister sledge,thinking of you...and the line "i'm in love again" i knew that's how i felt and i know exactly where i was standing and wearing when i heard it. we were together for four years. only a problem with visas stopped it .thanks for indulding me .
