The average IQ in the UK is 100. Anything above that is good.

The average IQ is between 114-130. 170 would make you a genius!!!

To get into Mensa you need a minimum IQ of 145 and remember you only need a vocabulary of 300 words to read the Sun newspaper!

Make sure that you're doing a standardised test as well. Any old site can stick up an 'IQ' test, and people who come out with 150 on those are often quite surprised when they do considerably worse when applying to Mensa....
