Ask Me Anything ?

I was once a member of another site which had a feature called Ask Me Anything, in which people asked you anything they wanted to and you gave truthful answers (lol). Like, did you keep goldfish as a child ?

They also had a Tradition called The Friday Question which as far as I could work out was an invitation to say F--K as many times as possible and generally be offensive. I got banned 38 times - for objecting - which was a shame.

Anyway, do you think we should have an Ask Me Anything section in AB ? I am prepared to be the first in the chair and I will reply truthfully to anything you care to ask me.

And yes I did have goldfish, I won them at the fair, they came in a plastic bag full of water and lasted all of two days..... shame really, I gave them names and everything.

goldfish from fairs are notorious dyers

they reckon up to 95% of them die in the first couple of days of being won, makes you wonder!

An Ask Me Anything section (or even a sub-section or possibly a sub-marine-sub-section of Chatterbank) would be very interesting, provided no really truthful stuff (like length of toenails and distance between front teeth) was allowed.

Another good sort of *unusual* thread could be a Rumours thread in which we all post totally true rumours about each other - like I could post the dastardly rumour that *Whiffey was last seen eating a cheese sandwich with no chilli sauce*

Well, quietly I will tell you. I didn't leave, I got banned, permabanned. I had made up some wicked aliases like ElizabethBennet, JaneAusten, BasilFawlty, DavidBrent. Once I roused the wrath of the site owner by posting the single word ' Wogan !!' - which I have to say I thought pretty valid at the time because it was the Eurovision Song Contest.

I think I am a misfit, and all I can wearily say is Hope this Helps.
