Is it true that sperm donors can not remain anonymous? They pay a handsome fee of 20 quid oer sample but I wouldnt do it if Im gonna have 20 kids claiming im their father later in life!

One of the requirements is that the donor is "fit and healthy" so if you smoke and dont do any exercise do they not consider you then?

Not sure about remaining anonymous. I am sure I read that children born through AID (artificial insemination by donor) can look up the donor later on in life.

However if it is done through a clinic you wouldn't be liable for child maintenance.

Who would want to donate sperm if they are going to be stuck with child maintenance for a child they do not have any contact with?

That is why it is best to donate through a clinic and not private arrangement ~ as recently highlighted in the news!
