How do you stop crying?

How do you pull yourself together and stop yourself crying after it has been confirmed that you have lost money due to other people pure incompetence?

Is there no way to get your funds back? No comeback at all?

No - after talking to numerous people it looks like Royal Mail are to blame and no one else will take responsibility.

Have sent letters to Company Chairmen and Ombudsman so will see what they have to offer but think I need to accept the fact that I wont get very far.

Got to get over it, but finding it a bit hard!!

I think I may walk a few miles in a pair of uncomfortable shoes - we all know that you can't think of anything else apart from ...ouch...ouch...ouch - Do you think that would work?

i saw our other post and i think most of us would be upset by it, but you havnt lost your original money which is something.

If my 2 year old is crying because hes hurt himself a good way to stop him crying is to mention the C word. So would you like a chocolate button??? :)

was it thousands, tens of thousands ??
was it a recorded delivery ?
was it insured ?

Hi GeeKee I didnt see the original post but the way I deal with this is to decide to foget about it (assuming all avenues of recovery are exhausted) and to spending my efforts on earning the amount(and more) some other way. Focus on getting back at LEAST to finacial status quo.

I like the thought of the C word.

In short - paid �250 per month for 3 years into work savings scheme with option to buys shares at 1.95 after three years.

I sent letter to say - yes please, please can I have 4615 shares.

They claim they never received the letter (not recorded as they provide business reply envelope)

Todays share price is now �3.97. so I had got the shares and sold them at todays price, I would get �18,321 back.

Ouch.

Thats hellish -its impossible to take on a mighty corporation and win.
I would cry my eyes out and have a good few days of being fuming then just pick myself up and accept I have to get on with it.

It is a very bitter pill to swallow -sorry for ya x

Have a real tantrum - stamping your feet, screaming and crying to get it out of your system. Then settle down with lots of chocolate (or jaffa cakes!). You can't change what's happened but you will feel better after a good wallow in self-pity. It does you good occasionally - works for me all the time!
