How does a man feel when his partner has an abortion?

For those men whose partner has had an abortion (of a fetus you shared), what did you go through emotionally? For a woman it is quite different bc she feels it in her, and the hormones make her off, but how does the man feeL?

Depends on the circumstances of whether the man wanted to become a father or not in the first place. If he didn't, he should have prevented it & if he did want a child & the woman didn't, then I would imagine he would feel rather awful about it. As an aside, accidents do happen, but abortion shouldn't be used as contraception.

depends on the man! i think they are covering this topic in hollyoaks this week. Must be so upsetting if the man wants it and the woman doesn't.

A kneejerk reacting would be..... in these circ umstances a woman has complete control.

However.... A man can pre-empt some control by getting to know his female friend to the degree where he would know how she react if she became prenant, before having sex with her. An old fashioned view, I know.
