how many minds?
9 Answers
you know that saying - two minds are better than one - well i was thinking, whats the maximum number of minds do you think you can have, that are better than one?
how many minds are too many?
is two too few?
what do you think is the most number of minds you can have working together, before it becomes too many minds!?
or maybe, one mind alone, is better than two! what do you think?

confusing...but interesting though!
i was thinking...say there was a huge disaster effecting the whole world...
would it be more effective for a single scientist to solve the problem? would two scientists be more effective? as i should imagine, a billion scientists, would involve so much debate and argument about theories, ideas and the such, that in theory, a billion minds would be less productive than a single one, or two. maybe the brain is more powerful left alone to its own devices, instead of been influenced by so many others, or atleast one other.
perhaps everyone is different. another saying comes to mind - "i work better alone" - the classic movie quote! but perhaps there is truth behind this. maybe two minds complecate a problem. anymore just creates thoughtful choas!

Many hands make light work, but too many chefs spoil the broth. The best balance is a stitch in time, but don't put all your eggs in one basket, and one certainly shouldn't count the chickens in that basket until the eggs have hatched.
If we could reach a happy medium on all our olde worlde proverbs, there would always be some blighter who comes along and puts a spanner in the works. Usually they are from IT, often Health & Safety, or sometimes that person who does the QA and nobody talks to.
Remember though, when counting, the body has a mind of its own.

there was a book written a few years ago called The Wisdom of Crowds which suggested that so ong as your group is large enough, and so long as it is representative enough, it will give better answers to questions that one person will.
Or something like that.
