Will everybody who posts on CB or B&S and is a green newbie be treated like a troll or alias of an ABer who is a known nasty? Or am I just the biggest gullible fool on AB?

I am tiggerblue10 and will always be tiggerblue10. I have a dry sarcy sense of humour (I hope I don't come across as nasty), but I also have a soft side to me as most of my friends on here will know. Every now and again I jump into some news items and a few other categories to put my little bit in. I, in the most part, don't get involved in the rows on here as I prefer to keep away and maintain my neutrality.

I've said my bit now so I'll get my coat and leave the building. Bye xxx

If it's any consolation Tiger I'm not new and I still get treated like a 'greenie'. But I don't care, I'm never mean to anyone. I ignore vile comments and post anyway.

I think regulars soon get to know who's the real McCoy and who isn't. I correspond with TB and know how she talks. A while back, there was another Ice-Maiden on. I first used that way of putting my username, so couldn't understand how someone else'd been able to use it, but this person said they'd had the name for a couple of year's or so (in which case how was I able to register with it??). Whatever, I was quite prepared to share the similarity, as those who send emails etc., to me, can easily tell us apart.

Ice.Maiden, you have to remember that to a computer you are just a string of characters whereby Ice.Maiden is not the same as Ice,Maiden is not the same as Ice:Maiden and so on. This is at the same time both a joy and a curse. There is not a human being examining every new application. We are all no more than strings.

Aw come of it tiggy you know as well as all of us we can all sence a genuine newbie and one that has been on here before as we all know most of us on here and it does not take long to suss that out.
Mon due some of the newbies that are really newbies are getting quite cheaky straight away.
So we will have to teach them that there is lessons to be learnt on here before they fit in wont we.

'Fit in'

Knobby, half the people that use this site don't 'fit in' anywhere, I fail to see how fitting in on here is some sort of gold standard.

Like I said, enjoy it for what it is and don't get involved with the rubbish. If people didn't pay it so much mind it would become boring and stop being done. Rather like the tantrum of a 2 year old.

You're right Whiffey, but I was trying to illustrate that it can be a bit disconcerting at first when you see someone up who appears to've pinched your username. Then again - the other person probably thought that about me! A genuine imposter could cause a lot of uncomfortable feelings - as appeared to be the case of Invisible, earlier on.
