I want to share this with you. Rub a teaspoon of oil and a teaspoon of salt into your hands for about 5 minutes and rinse off in soapy water.
Softest hands ever. Try it it really works : )

Similar to this; sugar, preferably caster, small amount of almond oil, drop or 2 of lavender oil. Mix should be slightly damp not wet.

You can make this mixture up and store. It keeps for a long time in an airtight container.

Dont use too often - either recipe will make your hands sore.

I agree.rabbity-I wouldn't want to use the salt method if i had any cuts or abrasions..ouch!

Try the sugar recipe. It's cheap and quickly effective but to help with very dry hands you could try the following:

A hand care regime is best done late night, just before bed.

Soak your hands in a bowl of warm water with a little, quality, moisturising bubble bath added. Dry carefully. Treat with a heavy duty hand cream, Atrixo etc. If very dry buy some thin cotton gloves (Boots) and wear those overnight. This can double the benefit of the hand cream.

Foot cream is very nourishing. Try it for your hands.

Sugar and olive oil is a very old fashioned tried and tested remedy for rough hands. Quite cheap too
