I'm 5"8 and 11 1/2 stone so mine is 24.5 top end of normal
22.1! I'm happy with that!
Not the brightest system in the world.

You have to take waist measurement into account too

So for example I have a BMI of 28 or so but have a waist measurement of about 35" so it's not a problem
BMI is a total waste of time.

Two men each 6' tall and weighing 16st have exactly the same BMI

One is a professional rugby player with a high muscle mass, the other is a big boozer with a huge beer gut.

Totally different health wise. Same BMI
I find the best method is a mirror and a hammer.
Totally agree with Ethel.

If you have loads of wobbly bits where they shouldn't be and you look in the mirror look overweight then you are overweight. It's as simple as that.
mine is 26.4 and I cycle 8 miles a day to work and back and do weights in the gym 3 times a week. Its complete pony, doesnt take bone structure or muscle/fat ratio into consideration.
lol.... I don't think BMI is a good way of assessing fitness on most people. Especially men who might be very heavy in muscle, I stuck an extra 1 in front of mine and it came out at 169.5.

4GS, I always assumed you were a gigantic tall bloke.
Oh dear, I am nearly obese at 29.1.

I shall tell my doctor I am clinically obese when I can run sub 5 minute miles on a good day!!!!!!!

Whilst BMI is a good indicator, a simple calculator like this one is just that--------- an indicator.
