does anyone know the earliest date before your period is due that you can take a test? and which over the counter tests are the most reliable?

i think the first responce and clear blue digital have a 50% success rate 4 days before your period is due.

For a lot of women a test is better taken once period is late, and even then can take up to 2 weeks for a positive to show

some tests allow up to 4 days in advance others allow only due date or after, check the packaging on purchase. If after due date i would say the supermarket own stand up to the major suppliers on accuracy
