Euww!
26 Answers
Mr H and I went to see 'The Golden Compass' at the weekend. While there I went to the loo, while I was washing my hands FIVE different girls/women came out of the cubicles and left without washing their hands. Euww! Is this normal? 'Fess up who doesn't wash their hands?

If the loos look relatively clean though, then I will wash. When I am at home and work I ALWAYS wash.

I know what you mean Nat, the loos were actually quite clean with soap and plenty of blow hand driers. I usually wash my hands but avoid contact with door handles etc on the way out ( In this case I followed someone out so I didn't have to touch anything). I have to say I don't think they were rushing out to use wipes outside though Busy Bee!
I have a handbag sized bottle of anti bacterial gel which I keep in my pocket which I use after pushing supermarket tolley/publci transport etc.
I was just so shocked at such poor hygiene no wonder everyone has Noro Virus and MSA if that is the general standard.

The problem with those blow driers is they never do dry your hands do they, unless you stand there for 10 mins?! I've heard it's worse to wash and not dry your hands properly than it is to not wash at all...bugs thrive better in damp, wam conditions....and those drier harbour bacteria too. Oh heck, I'm becoming obsessed!
I'm the same as BusyBee, I prefer to use wipes.

I do because I`m a bit of a "clean freak" but I reckon some people only wash their hands if there`s someone else around,if not they wouldn`t bother
A bloke at work who never washes his hands even if he`s had a number two, will make a cup of tea and squeeze the teabag out with his fingers....Fluuuuuuuuuurch!

We used to eat out at least once a week with an assoaciate of ours & his late wife (sorry). Although they were very well off & could be quite snobby, she never washed her hands after going to the loo! It used to really irritate me, 'specially after me hinting that the soap smelled nice & the water was too or or cold! I'd have thought the racket of he dryer would have prompted her too, but no....
She'd stand there preening herself in the mirror, before walking back to the table to finish off her meal. She would often poke her fork in my dinner & say "Oh, that's looks nice, could I try it?". Aaarrrggg,
I've always keep a pack of wipes in my bag - just in case!

Meant to say, we were eating out last year & a waitress came into the loo, did a loud gushing wee, then walked out without washing her hands.
I had a very discreet word with the Manager & he ensured me that he would have a word with her & the rest of the staff. I promptly said "Okay, but don't forget the Chef".
