Supposing you could live to be 1000 years old BUT...

...but the pace of life is proportionate to the lifespan we have at present.

For example, you become sexually mature around 120. You tend to settle down and have a family around 250. You reach middle age at 400 or 500. You retire at 600.

True, you'd have a longer youth than at present, but you'd also have a longer childhood and a longer old age.

My question is: would there be any point in this longer lifespan? Would it make any difference?
