I always do because I have a bit of a lie in on a sunday, Im wide awake on sunday night normally, However I reckon I will sleep like a baby tonight! Im well knackered

As a teacher, everyone I knew had at least a touch of Sunday night anxiety but this paled into insignificance compared with the night before the start of the new school year, in September, spent either wide-awake or stumbing from one nightmare to another.

Yes, I almost always do - and that is even on the weeks when I only work Tuesday to Friday. It may have something to do with sleeping late on a Sunday morning.

Funny that, I thought it was just me!!

It is the thought of going to work Monday and all that I have to do at work running through my mind.

I have tried everything, to giving up coffee and having a late bath.

I do - I put off going to bed every Sunday because it means the weekend is over.

YES!! both me and my husband take ages to drop of on a Sunday night and are always really tired as a consequence on a Monday.
We call it The Sunday Night Fear.
Its suprising how many people are the same with it though.
If I was prime minister I would give everyone Mondays off so nobody suffered with this. Hmmm...

I'm so glad to hear its a common problem! I hardly ever sleep well on a Sunday night cos I'm thinking about the week ahead and what I want to achieve. The only time I sleep well on a Sunday night is when I've been out walking cos it makes me really tired. The last time we went walking on a Sunday we did 13 miles and I slept really well that night!
