conceiving during pill free week

I was just wondering whether it is possible to conceuve from unprotected sex during a pill free week ie during a menstrual oeriod?

it is possible but very unlikely to concieve during menstruation even if you are not on the pill. but to answer your question properly you are still protected from pregnancy during the break week, as long as you have been taking it properly at more or less the same time every day you should be fine. a bit more of a worry if you are sporadic,but it is pretty unlikely. get a pregnancy test kit if you are worried.

If you're on the Pill and take it correctly then you CANNOT get pregnant during the Pill free week (or at least there is only the usual 1% chance). If you don't take it as prescribed then obviously you will be at risk.

It is the most unlikely thing in the world! When you have a period, your body is getting rid of everything it has just built up to get ready to have a baby. This is the safest time to have sex unprotected! And the pill is after all over 99% effective if taken correctly.
