What happens to the ashes of amptated limbs

I'm interested to know what happens to the ashes created by amputated body parts (I've had two amputations on the same leg). I'm just interested in what happens to them.

They just go in the hospital incinerator with all the other biological waste don't they?

The ashes will be disposed of carefully along with other biological hospital waste.There are specialist contractors that deal with medical waste.It isn't dumped in landfill like other waste.

Its is a daffy says there is one in my area but they did find a couple of years back some had been dumped in a land fill.

Bri there are always exceptions to the rule.I should have said it is supposed to be disposed of carefully.lol. These rogue companies get everywhere don't they! I hope they caught whoever did the dumping that you're referring to and they got prosecuted!!!
