Has anybody out there had bladder function tests called a uridinamic assessment. My mother has to go for this shortly and at 84 years old is very nervous. I just want an idea of what it's all about.

It's very short, simple procedure where they will measure her bladder capacity and a few other minor things. It should take no longer than 15 mins. They will probably numb her urethra beforehand with an anaesthetic jelly if they scope her. There may be a mild discomfort when her bladder gets full but they'll release the pressure immediately. She will be fine.
