dont know claire , but could be a mix up along the way , you know what the nhs is like
could have been a phantom pregnancy!!
Awww Claire, that's awful.x :-(
might it have been a blighted ovum?
I thought a phantom pregnancy was psychological, so it wouln't give a positive test? Forgive me if I'm wrong.
The most likely is a mix up at the doctor's...

Sorry Claire, I hope you're ok hun. xxx
Awww...hope you're feeling alright Claire.
I doubt you've had an ectopic pregnancy, as a scan'd surely show this up?
Sounds like there's been a mix-up somewhere.
You could actually have had a miscarriage but instead of the embryo being expelled from your body it may have been reabsorbed into it so there would have been no bleeding.I think it is called something like a missed pregnancy.

Claire,

Daffy's right. My sister was carrying twins and when scanned one had disappeared. She had not bled or anything. Doctors told her that it was so early that her body had reabsorbed it.

i dont want to worry you claire and i,m sure your fine if youve had a scan but when i was much younger i too have the same thing and i find out that i had cysts on my overies so it may be a good idea to discuss it with your doctor there really easy to get rid of so dont panic and it could have just been that for me
