Find anything with DEET in it. You can get Boots own brands with DEET and they are pretty good. I get bitten alive when in hot countries but this stuff does help. I get the wipes and put them on before I got out in the evening and take a spray out with me (then usually spend the rest of the night spraying toxic fumes over myself, much to everyone else's annoyance!)
